- Provide level 1 support for satellite customers, with focus on ensuring IT connectivity for vessels at sea
- Utilize “back door” (putty, ssh connections, proprietary gui interfaces) tools to gain access to vessel connectivity systems to diagnose and repair Level 1 connectivity issues; escalate issues as required
- Provide level 1 support to terrestrial and media customers, including QVC and the FAA; diagnose and repair Level 1 connectivity issues; escalate issue as required
- Ensure trouble ticketing system is properly updated for all issues; ensure timely close-out of tickets where Level 1 corrections were made to meet required key performance indicators and service level agreements
