Worked as a electrician for two years after graduating before becoming a machinist at Krimminger"s machine shop in Mt.Pleasant NC where I was trained setup program CNC machining centers, turning centers and surface grinders. In 1991 I was hired by Norfolk Southern Railway where I am presently employeed. My responsibilities are to program our machines using NX9.0 and verify them using vericut. I also build our post processors using NX post builder. We have currently have 7 machines ( Hurco 4axis mill, Mori DMF360 4 axis mill, HAAS VF-1 3 axis mill, HAAS SL-40 Turning center with live tooling, HAAS TL-3 Turning center, HAAS VF-6 mill and HAAS ST-30 Turning center with live tooling). I have attended Siemens post builder classes and also Siemens manufacturing class.
