Responsible for production planning and order dressing for Tenaris Hickman - a steel tubing manufacturing plant with over 30,000 tons of production per month. Plans production campaigns to maximize plant efficiency while focusing on customer compliance and maintaining target inventory levels. Manages production orders for both Build to Forecast and Build to Order models for a variety of customers and products. Manages order dressing; maintaining and creating new products, BoMs, and routings in various ERP Systems, ensuring proper technical specifications are input and that production requests match the customers' item requirements. Responsible for managing third party production of couplings for North American production facilities, documenting production in ERP systems for correct bookkeeping as well as verifying third party raw material consumption. Responsible for ordering components and accessories from third party suppliers, maintaining D.o.I. KPIs and preventing mill stoppage.Act as intermediary for Supply Planning, Resource Planning, Production Planning, Mill Scheduling and the mill to ensure on-time deliverables and accurate CTS quotes.
