ACSI assigns a number of heads of school to me and it is my job to make personal connections with them throughout the school year. I help them understand ACSI better and seek to help them in any way that I can.

I serve the board to carry out the vision and mission of the school. Specifically I steward all aspects of the school, including education, finances, development, fundraising, facilities, activities, community relations and extra-curricular activities. Specifically I steward all aspects of the school, including education, finances, development, fundraising, facilities, activities, community relations and extra-curricular activities. I lead a team of seven administrators who oversee each major department of the school.Heritage Christian Schools, has approximately 680 students in grades PK-12. The school has experienced a great deal of financial stability and growth since I became the President in 2013. Enrollment has grown about 25%. We purchased a new campus in New Berlin, WI in November 2014. In 2022, we completed construction of a new varsity gym and commons area as part of the MSHS campus. We also opened an intermediate campus in the fall of 2022.In 2021-22, we completed our second four-year strategic plan with the help of consultation from ISM (Independent School Management). Key initiatives included benchmarked teacher raises, significant increases in employee professional development, improved benefits, comprehensive safety/transportation plans, and continued support of award-winning robotics program.In both 2020-21 and 2021-22, the school posted state report card scores that "significantly exceeded expectations" and placed the school in the top ten percent of all schools in the state.Our greatest accomplishment at Heritage is our ability to build a strong culture as we turned our focus on accomplishing our mission: Inspiring servant leaders through an exceptional Christ-centered education. WCRIS is a non-profit, government relations association representing the needs of over 500 religious and independent schools and more than 100,000 students across Wisconsin. I have had opportunity to meet with legislators in the state capitol building to encourage changes that have led to the expansion of the school voucher program.As treasurer I serve on the executive committee of the board and review all of the finances of the… Show more As a board member I help WCRIS carry out its mission. I have had opportunity to meet with legislators in the state capitol building to encourage changes that have led to the expansion of the school voucher program.As treasurer I serve on the executive committee of the board and review all of the finances of the organization. In this capacity I have advised the board in adjusting its investment policy and have given guidance with regards to dues increases. Show less
