Guerilla Chief
CurrentGuerrilla Chief of between 18 to 25 member Guerilla Band. Position requires facilitation between the Special Forces Detachment and the Guerilla Band, in an austere field environment, though scenario driven events and timelines thereby creating an Unconventional Warfare environment which the Special Forces students progress by, with and through their Guerilla Band during Unconventional Warfare exercise ROBIN SAGE. Upon integration of Student Detachment into Guerilla Band, the Special Forces students are required to teach the Guerilla Band various skills, then apply and exercise the skills they’ve learned during the Special Forces Qualification Course such as: - Advise Guerilla leadership and develop the Area Complex regarding the Underground, Auxiliary, Medical, Communications, logistical and Security - Instruct, train, and lead Guerilla Band members in tactical raids, ambushes, patrols, recons, and other strikes against enemy forces. - Instruct, train, and lead Guerilla Band members in how to properly plan these operations using Warning Orders, Operations Order, and Frag Orders, and other mission planning techniques. - Develop an Information Operations (IO) campaign in order to facilitate indigenous popular support and to counter enemy propaganda through sympathetic publicity and awareness - Any number of other dilemmas which frequently result from second and third order effects to student decisions
