After graduating from the School of Visual Arts in 1999 with a BFA in Advertising, I started my career at Merkley & Partners freelancing as a Copywriter. While there, I produced ads for the FILA and BMW Motorcycles accounts. Several months later, I took a staff job at Mad Dogs & Englishmen where I worked on a wide range of dot.com accounts and got to play fetch with a Jack Russell named Chico. In 2002, I began freelancing at DeVito/Verdi. After winning a Bronze Cannes Lion and Best of Show for Broadcast at the New York ADDY awards in 2004, I was hired full time by DeVito/Verdi. Since then, my creativity has won a wide range of International advertising awards across the board, including Gold/Silver/Bronze Cannes Lions, One Show Pencil/Merits, Gold/Silver/Bronze CLIO's and New York Festival World Medals, among others. My work has also appeared in the Graphis and Communication Arts advertising annuals. My latest achievement is a self-published book titled Pixie’s Parchment Paper which can be found on Amazon.com. Over 3.2 million students are victims of bullying each year. Instead of writing an ad to build more awareness about the topic, I wrote a story about it.
