Nuclear engineer with strong mechanical engineering background and interest in research.I enjoy hands-on work, troubleshooting, interfacing with clients/teams, teaching practical skills, and being resourceful.As a PhD student, I was able to apply my skills in designing, building, and operating research facilities both for my own use and to support fellow students. My research primarily involved fluid flow scenarios relevant to nuclear reactor coolant systems. I implemented high-resolution, high-fidelity instrumentation systems and techniques to capture experimental data. A large part of the novelty of my research came from the implementation of high-speed imaging techniques, such as tomographic particle image velocimetry, to capture time resolved data of specific flow characteristics/conditions.During my time as a student, I secured supplemental income by taking on various handyman jobs. As I was able to get consistent referrals for work and increase the scale of my projects, I decided to formalize my business by creating an LLC. I derive a lot of satisfaction from completing quality jobs and building working relationships with my clients. Operating a small business has helped me develop my interpersonal and project management skills.
