Primary liaison for Medical and Pharmacy services related to Fully Insured and Administrative Services Only (ASO) accounts. Regularly met and worked with Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBM), Third Party Administrators (TPA), brokers, company presidents, as well as Fund Managers, and Members of their Board. Led client meetings, as well as reviewed and presented key client reporting and analytics, which in turn drove decisions for their overall healthcare benefit plans. Proposed areas of improvement that drove reductions in costs, improved member engagement, increased access to care, and overall member satisfaction. These strategies included, but were not limited to, utilization of wellness programs, adoption of narrow networks, managed care, and steerage toward awarded facilities where members receive a higher level of care, resulting in shorter hospital stays, reduced re-admissions, and a better overall member experience. Held Illinois Producer License, and sold Life, Health, and Accidental Death and Dismemberment products. Presented and sold over $600K in annual product premium such as Pharmacy, Dental, Life, Long Term Disability, Stop Loss and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance, each year. Negotiated renewal rates with underwriting, brokers and consultants. Partnered with the internal clients such as Proposal Team, and coordinated efforts with Client Analytics to provide clear and meaningful reports that drove changes in client’s Healthcare and benefit plans. Interpreted healthcare data and implemented strategic tactical solutions to control healthcare spend. Grew book of business through upselling and uncovering new opportunities. Maintained 100% of client base over 4 years.
