In 2010 my wife Pam and I gave life to Boring Goats (located in the community of Boring, Oregon) with one simple mission in mind, to provide superior goat milk skincare products, superior value and superior customer service while “Paying it forward” as we do. Since our first sale we’ve been fortunate enough to grow our business to include a family of loyal customers from coast to coast and around the world; providing exceptional goat milk skincare products direct to our online customers, as well as businesses large to small, everything from small cottage outlets to Whole Foods Markets throughout the Pacific Northwest. It’s thanks to those customers, as well as our commitment to our mission, that we’ve been able to consistently grow our business, experiencing double digit growth since inception (not too hard to do when you start at zero!). As we’ve grown we’ve not only developed an exceptional host of products, but a strong commitment to “Paying it forward”. In 2011 we launched our first “Soap for Hope” fundraiser, based on the principle of donating a percentage of our sales to worthwhile causes. Since then we’ve expanded “Soap for Hope” to include seasonal “Soap for Hope” products; signature products that contribute $1 per sale to smaller causes, causes where a little can go a long way to help those that can use a little support.
