Lead a simulation training support organization comprised of 26 military and civilian government personnel and over 200 contractors with an annual operating budget of over $131M, including direct oversight of the Flight School XXI contract. Provide organizational vision for the planning, coordination and execution of live, virtual and constructive training in support of 17 programs of instruction, including individual initial entry through advanced collective training and professional military education at the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE). Served as the Army Accreditation Authority for over 400 flight and aviation simulators world-wide, including rotary-wing, unmanned aerial systems, air-traffic control and collective training systems such as the Aviation Combined Arms Tactical Trainer (AVCATT). Serve as the subject matter expert for the USAACE Commander and other stakeholders across the Aviation enterprise, ensuring that future simulation training capabilities are developed to meet the needs of Army Aviation.

Hand selected to serve as first U.S. officer assigned to the center. Responsible for the overall management and direction of the center consisting of military, government civilian and contractors from Italy and Czech Republic. Served as a member of the NATO Modeling and Simulation Group and chairman of the Military Operational Requirements Subgroup. Led development of a NATO Education and training plan for M&S professionals and supported several task groups as an SME. During my tenure, my key focus was recruitment of other countries to the Center, resulting in both Canada and Germany officially supporting the Center with personnel.

U.S. Southern Command, U.S. Army

Deputy Science Advisor to the Combatant Commander and JCTD Manager. Manages science and technology efforts to address key capability gaps. Focus on information sharing across the joint force and with non-DOD partners, cyber awareness, ISR sensors, and disaster response capabilities.

Responsible for managing the tactical operations center for the 3rd CAB during two tours in two different theaters of operation (Iraq, Afghanistan). As the chief of operations, led the training and development of a multi-disciplinary team of 20 Soldiers and airmen to maintain situational awareness of all Army Aviation missions throughout a division's area of operations: including routine passenger and cargo movement, MEDEVAC, reconnaissance and attack operations, raids, close air-support and emergency missions.As a simulations officer, planned and executed the aviation mission rehearsal exercise for the brigade and supported the planning and execution of the MRE for the relieving unit.

From 1994 - 2006, served in various roles with increasing levels of responsibility as an Aviation Officer in the U.S. Army with assignments in Korea, Fort Campbell, KY, Germany and Savannah, GA. Qualified in the UH-1 and AH64A Apache and AH64D Longbow. Jobs included platoon leader (x2), company commander, and ROTC instructor at Embry-Riddle. As a staff officer in numerous assignments, I performed duties as a human resources officer, future operations planning officer, training and exercise planner and current operations officer. I have several overseas tours and have worked with dozens of partner nations in Europe, Asia and South America. Additionally, I have three combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
