As EVP, directed strategic planning, partnership development, growth, and operations of the new Ambulatory Enterprise. Highlights:• Selected to lead a new startup and subsidiary (the first Physician Enterprise for the system), expanding the operation to 35 providers across Orthopedics, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Primary and Urgent Care, and Concierge Medicine. • Helped lead the RFP effort to secure a hospital acquisition partner and supported the selection process.• Oversaw performance and team development for more than 100 staff members. • Served on the Boards of First Coast Health Alliance, Flagler Professional Health Care Services, and CareFast+ Urgent Care.

During this transformative time, managed M&A and joint venture strategies focused on health system physician alignment and clinical integration. Highlights:• Partnered with leasing and construction teams on the development of mixed-use ambulatory Health Villages as part of a service area expansion and growth initiative. • Named Program Lead for the Cardiovascular Professional Services Agreement.

While serving as Executive Director for First Coast Health Alliance (a PHO with Flagler Health), supported the FCHA Board and physician led committees on development and implementation of value-based care strategies. Highlights:• Played a key role in the creation of a PHO, engaging with internal hospital leadership, consultants, and more than 80 private practices on the launch. • Delivered substantial shared savings through the formation of a Hospital Quality & Efficiency Program and as the FCHA Program Lead for the Florida Blue Accountable Provider Shared Savings Program. • Expanded our network through the Medicare Advantage Service Area Expansion for Florida Health Care Plans.

Served as the creative lead for the initial vision, product roadmap, and product development of the USPM flagship comprehensive prevention and wellness product line – The Prevention Plan. Provided client consultations for employee incentive strategies, program structure, and integrated benefit design. Developed a client-customizable Prevention Score that enabled sustained program engagement and outcome-based incentive plans. Led multiple client implementations and renewals.

Directed financial, operational, and administrative functions of the Neuroscience Institute at Shands Jacksonville including the departments of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and the Sleep Disorders Center. Collaborated with senior management teams at Shands Hospital and University of Florida Physician Group on the business plan and design of a new Neurosurgical and Neuroscience Research Inpatient and Outpatient Center.

Conducted financial analysis, pro-forma modeling, project management, business plan development, and strategic planning support for new market / product expansions and acquisitions. Led financial market research for de novo opportunities and acquisition targets. Supported executive committee on board presentations relating to projected same-store growth, developmental activities, and MCO industry comparatives. Performed RFP response and premium rate proposals for NY and FL Healthy Kid’s market expansions.
