Industry is a market-leading business and commercial affairs consultancy with a wide range of expertise in all genres and platforms, from comedy and drama to entertainment, factual, lifestyle and children's programming, and more. I headed Industry's non scripted business and managed Industry's growth and marketing strategy as well as the day to day management of the business with Industry's Managing Director.

Shine 360 is the division of the Shine Group responsible for creating value from the ancillary rights to Shine's big brands. As Commercial and Business Affairs Director, I managed business and commercial affairs for key UK and global initiatives for brands such as MasterChef and The Biggest Loser, working closely with Shine 360's Brand and Sponsorship Directors and its CEO.

Prior to the creation of Shine 360, the individual production companies of the Shine Group managed their own ancillary rights. My job was to create value from the off air rights of Shine TV's brands, which included MasterChef and The Biggest Loser. I managed all ancillary rights relating to those brands, rolling out publishing, live events and consumer products initiatives, and working closely with third party licensees and agents.

I was responsible for all legal and business affairs relating to Shine TV's television productions, managing a small team and directly handling key productions. I managed production and co-production agreements, development agreements, distribution agreements, talent agreements and all of the other agreements and documents required for successful and efficient production of Shine TV's wide and varied output of programming.

I was Business Affairs Manager for Factual and Regional programmes at Granada Productions in Manchester.
