- Supervise two teams of field staff and a team of internal staff; each team consists of full time employees, part time employees, and student workers as well as provide guidance to traffic counting personnel in other districts throughout the state-Successfully acquire over $75,000 in funding from the Transportation Research Board for multiple traffic data collection projects.- Properly manage a $200,000 (FY2020) and $356,000 (FY2021) equipment spending budget - Technical Liaison, for a Technical Advisory Panel project, taking vehicle length data from RTMC radar detectors around the metro and using it for heavy commercial traffic detection-Participate on a committee looking at the use of non-intrusive methods (radar) for collecting traffic data that conforms to MnDOTs safety manual- Revive a project of placing traffic detecting radar units at high roadway volume RWIS sites across the state.
