As the Head of Ambulance Commissioning for the East of England, I lead the Ambulance Commissioning Consortium, which oversees the contracts and performance of the ambulance services in the region. I have over 11 years of experience in this role, and I have also been the national Ambulance Financial Commissioning Lead and a member of the Cross Government Collaborative Commissioning Development Group that developed cross government job specifications for commissioning.I have a strong background in finance, contracting, and procurement, having trained at KPMG in the nineties and held executive posts in the health and education sectors. I am passionate about tackling environmental issues and supporting the most vulnerable people to make their lives better. I volunteer for a local charity that helps those furthest from work towards a sustainable living wage and promotes circular economy in the textile industry. I am also a retired Royal Air Force engineer, who ran a retail music business in the mid-eighties. I am looking for my next work challenge that aligns with my values and goals.
