At Fidelity I filled a wide variety of roles to create content supporting the communications team. It was a fast paced and ever changing environment where you juggled multiple projects simultaneously. Turnaround times were short, leaving little room for error, and you had to think on your feet, because sometimes a piece of breaking news, a market event, or an organizational announcement could change the entire trajectory of a project (but rarely the timeline). In short, it was the perfect learning environment for someone like me! I was able to build upon my existing skills while having opportunities to try new roles, technologies, styles, leading to the development of new abilities. In particular I was able to develop a strong understanding of project management that included:- working directly with clients and executives, - developing and pitching concepts,- planning and running shoots, often with multiple cameras and delegating to colleagues as needed. I am very proud of what I learned at Fidelity, and I hope that I can continue to build upon these skills in the future.
