About John Hauser
As a Capture & Contract Manager, I'm responsible for developing leads from various resources and tools, including government contract leads including the pre-sales contract bid submission process for designated bids and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and all sales prospecting tools to capture and distribute new qualified sales opportunities appropriately. This requires an understanding of contract bid terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with appropriate laws and regulations (Both Federal and State and Local). I work to ensures NEC Display Solutions is registered on all appropriate government purchasing cooperatives/contracts, the sales force is engaged on opportunities, and manages the bidding process. Responsibilities:• Research and identify tender bid opportunities, especially in public sector (i.e. state & local government, education).• Report and communicate to internal and external customers regarding pre-submission needs, compliance requirements or clarification and follow-up of bid submissions while under review.• Manage efforts with different departments associated with the preparation of bid request documents or submissions. • Communicate information about newly identified sales opportunities to sales team for follow up and engagement.• Communicate and distribute standard bid request documents to internal responders.• Oversee internal bid request documents listing clear and concise information, including deadlines.• Review and ensure bid is presented to the highest standard.• Manage contract bid status with sales team. • Analyze and evaluate RFP to determine product suitability, and win/loss ratio.• Oversee and manage process for collecting proposal documentation.• Maintain, follow up, and provide RFP timeline to sales team.• Daily use of other sales prospecting tools including:o Construct Connect – new builds & public bidso Zoom Infoo Definitive Healthcareo RFP Schoolwatcho Biddingoo Bidprimeo Merxo GovTech• Research, identify and distribute other lead and target account lists to sales. • Assist in management of deal registration program enhancements and execution• Actively pursue state contract bid partnerships with key accounts. • Encourage and facilitate state contract revenue growth through channel sales and key partner contact engagement.
