• Investigation of Child Sexual Assaults and Child Homicides.• Conducted forensic child interviews to collect the most accurate recollections from the witnesses and victims. • Identified and collected evidence related to the allegations• Conducted accusatory interviews with suspects and laid charges where reasonable grounds existed for the allegations.• In collaboration with Alberta Child and Family Services, developed program that was designed to promote effective joint police/social work investigations into incidents involving children. • Co-instructed this course to the RCMP, Calgary Police Service members and social workers after leaving the unit.

• Responsible for conducting investigations at the district level for all Criminal Code offences, that could not be handled at the street level. Such as aggravated assaults, sexual assaults, moderate value frauds, extortions, hostage takings and uncertain sudden deaths. • Conducted investigation into an international child abduction case. Subsequently drafted a SOP for others to follow from the lessons learned.
