I am a Zero Waste and Circular Economy policy expert with a specific focus on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws for paper and packaging. My experience spans the public and private sector, including direct employment or consulting with advocacy organizations, state government, and some of the world's largest companies. Most recently, I've worked to stand up the first U.S. Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) for paper and packaging EPR compliance - Circular Action Alliance - acting as the lead interface for the organization with thousands of regulated companies.As a graduate of the Yale School of the Environment with a Masters in Environmental Management, I am committed to ensuring that the policies we pass in the U.S. are effective and drive towards solving some of the world's most difficult problems. My work is deeply rooted in care and concern for human beings and our non-human neighbors, and I strive to understand the complex social, technological, and legal structures that hinder or aid progress towards an ecologically sound future.
