As the sole QA engineer at Interject my responsibility was to assess testing needs as quickly and effectively as possible to meet the needs of our clients. During my time at Interject I initiated and led a successful transition to Agile/Scrum methodology for the entire company. I acted as the scrum-master for two scrum teams, as well as a student team in the summer. As Interject is an organization highly focused on data I interacted daily with SSMS databases and stored procedures, and often helped troubleshoot issues that I discovered during testing. This position also required a solid understanding of accounting and finance principles.

In this position, I worked as a contract employee with a large QA team, supporting a complex suite of web-based tools related to medical insurance billing and workers compensation claims. In this role I expanded my knowledge of SQL and learned a great deal about the medical and insurance industries.

My role with WideOrbit was to provide management and key stakeholders with insight into the state of the streaming media product. I accomplished this by performing exploratory, functional, integration, and regression testing on a suite of interconnected components. I maintained and groomed the bug list for multiple components in JIRA, with the goal of creating an up-to-the-minute picture of existing issues.

As a QA Engineer, I worked with clients to develop effective test plans for a wide variety of software and hardware. I then carried out these test plans under strict time constraints in order to provide valuable data for the development process. After completing a test plan, it was my responsibility to thoroughly document the results and prepare a final report for the client. These reports were often viewed and used by executive level decision makers. I have been assigned as the lead test engineer on several large projects.

In this position I spent half of my time working with the talent development team and half of my time working with the business intelligence team. While working with Cambia, I helped design a new IT on-boarding program, managed site content on SharePoint, designed and deployed a best practice exchange dashboard on SharePoint, developed and deployed ETL functions for a Greenplum database schema, and performed data analysis and business process analysis on the IT skills inventory.

As a licensed personal banker and small business specialist I worked directly with clients to provide them with outstanding personal service. A large part of my role was to actively prospect for sales opportunities with both existing and potential clients. I held series 6 and series 63 securities licenses while in this position, as well as a Washington State life and health insurance producer license. My responsibilities included opening new accounts, servicing existing accounts, educating clients about bank services and products, providing investment advice, and generating referrals to mortgage and lending partners.

As a personal banker I assisted clients with transactions and provided service to existing accounts. In this role I also opened new accounts, cross promoted bank products, and generated referrals to investment and lending partners. This role required a high level of expertise in regulatory compliance, security procedures, operational controls, and financial products.

As a server, my responsibility was to provide restaurant guests with an amazing dining experience. I created this experience by delivering fast, courteous, and knowledgeable service to every guest. Multitasking and time management were essential skills in this role. I was also responsible for training groups of three to six new employees each month. This training was a week long classroom based program, followed by three days of floor training.
