Campus Gallery Director and Tenured Full time Faculty Mt. San Jacinto College, San Jacinto, CA Part time 2015 - 18, Full time 2018 – present- Curate six exhibitions a year with a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion- Develop ART TALK guest lecture series, which has brought in a world class group of artists, curators and writers- Develop Art on Campus Initiative and Art on Campus Committee. Responsible for bringing in over $150,000 in purchases, gifts and loans to the campus- Responsible for securing funds and overseeing a $40,000 art gallery renovation- Improve and upgrade tools, technologies and facilities across the department- Manage a volunteer pool of over a dozen volunteers - Work with the Marketing/Public Information department for successful PR campaigns - Serve on hiring committees- Organize student art competitions- Write grants to help support the gallery’s operating budget- Courses taught: Intro to Drawing, Intro to Sculpture, Intro to 3D Design, Intro to Ceramics, Art Appreciation, Intro to Modernism
