Prior to practicing law, John was employed with various insurers in both the life and health and property casualty industries. He has also been seconded to insurance operations acting in the office of general counsel. He is licensed to practice in Illinois as well as the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth and Seventh Circuits and has appeared as pro hac vice counsel in courts throughout the United States.John was selected as an Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2009-11 and as a Super Lawyer in 2012-20 and as a Leading Lawyer in 2010-20.
