Later, while working for a national structural engineering firm, he served as the in-house resource for cold-formed steel framing projects.John has been a long time member of the Cold-Formed Steel Engineers Institute (CFSEI) and currently serves as a national board member. He has authored several technical notes on cold-formed steel design and has given several presentations on the subject to groups of engineers, contractors, and building officials.Structural Engineering ExperienceHe has served as engineer of record and project manager for numerous projects, including office buildings, schools, hotels, convention centers, labs and sports venues.In the course of his work, he has designed many significant building renovations and expansions which require the use of special techniques and design approaches.
