I am looking to partner with an organization to do amazing things...2018 - 2019 - Assistant Director, Governor's Rural Broadband Office. Assisted legislators to modify existing law and write new legislation to help build rural broadband. Assisted in developing plans and funding for P3(public private partnerships) implementation of grants and loans for expanding rural broadband. 2002 - 2018 - Division Manager for Local Government Information Technology2018 - Conceived and built the fastest school system data network in the nation (see article)... 2013 - Designed and built the first rural residential broadband program in the State of Maryland (see article)...1993-2018 - Designed and built the first government run fiber data network (metro network) in the state of Maryland. It now connects all schools, community college campuses, fire stations, police stations, courts, public safety training centers, detention centers, libraries, emergency operations, wireless towers, data centers and County office buildings. The network now provides data, phone and video services. It also supports "Smart Community" applications. The network also provides dark fiber services to the State, local jurisdictions and other anchor institutions.The network now generates Millions of dollars in income annually and additional Millions of dollars in cost avoidance.All the above projects have been funded by securing industry grants and Federal grants.2010 - Administered agreements to deliver the title "Most Connected County in the Nation". 3 wired broadband providers serving the majority of residents.
