With over 19 years of experience leading tech teams in applications development, networking, and business systems, I pride myself on my problem-solving abilities and my knack for optimizing business processes.My education at WKU in Bowling Green, KY, where I graduated at the top of the program and Magna Cum Laude, laid the foundation for my career. Recruited my senior year as a business systems analyst and web application programmer, I honed my skills in building custom web applications, e-commerce platforms, and business systems tools, all geared towards enhancing process efficiency and reducing costs.Transitioning from web applications to network topology, I assumed the role of network manager in 2008 at the request of the company. Over the next decade, I spearheaded the transition of our corporate network from classic bare metal server racks and PRI lines to hub-and-spoke VPN tunnels and virtualized servers, facilitating our expansion into Canada and the opening of 8 additional locations.My responsibilities evolved into overseeing network M&A activity, where I leveraged virtualization and NAAS technology to consolidate and relocate dozens of offices and plants, contributing to our company's 10X growth and successful IPO in 2021. Subsequently, I transitioned back to the role of Director of Web Development to meet increased regulatory requirements.In 2021, I led the establishment of a successful DevOps team, which grew to 9 full-stack developers managing 18 custom e-commerce platforms with annual revenue exceeding $300 million by 2023. As the DevOps team and pipeline matured, my focus shifted from process improvement to department collaboration and strategic planning.As a seasoned leader with a strong work ethic, I have successfully overseen multi-million dollar projects and day-to-day tasks across various IT roles.
