-Operability and Performance engineer for turbine engines, specifically turbofans, turboprops and auxiliary power units (APU).-Established best practices for pre- and post-test data integrity analysis. -Created data reduction tools in MATLAB to efficiently determine test data integrity and to quickly reduce and analyze high speed transient test data. -Lead engineer for APU start testing and turbofan transient flight testing. Responsible for proper execution of engine maneuvers, and responsible for constant data monitoring to ensure data quality. -Created test requests for APU, turbofan and turboprop tests. Tests requests included detailed test instructions and detailed instrumentation requests to provide necessary accuracy in reduced data. -Guided troubleshooting activities in altitude facility to diagnose engine system issues and instrumentation issues-Aided in development studies in altitude facility to adequately perform customer requested test. -Assisted in creation of system modeling best practices. -Used proprietary system modeling tools and SIMULINK to model steady state and transient turbine engine cycles. -Used SIMULINK to analyze effects of control schedule adjustments on engine system.-Developed new method for calibrating engine heat sinks to transient test data using a hybrid optimization software, HEEDS. Reduced time to calibrate engine cycle to test data from weeks to days.
