I oversee the cost-effective dental care of 2 Wings and 28 associate Units. I am responsible for the readiness, training, resources, morale and welfare for 7 officers, 20 enlisted, and 8 civilians who support 3,200 active duty personnel and all other eligible beneficiaries. I provide strategic direction for an operating budget of $1 million and the delivery of $3 million in quality dental care annually. I am the Liaison for Delaware Technical Hygiene program, providing 18 students the necessary environment and skills needed for licensure. I steered dental outreach to jump 41% in under year, reaching 720 elementary students in one month. As the patient decontamination team leader, I direct a team of 25 to prepare and execute from ground zero to fully capable in under 22 minutes, raised training completion from 25% to 90% in 3 months, and maintained the equipment package to ensure readiness valued at $1.5 million

I directed the fabrication and repair of completed dental prostheses valued at $607K; fixed and partial dental prostheses, and individual crowns, inlays, pontics, splints, and stabilizers. I increased production 37% in one year, by eliminating redundancies and procedure shortfalls. I managed the dental laboratory administrative tasks, equipment, and precious metals. In this position I prepared monthly executive reports to Higher Headquarters regarding laboratory tasks and records. I oversaw requisitions, storage, and supply issuing. I furnished deficiency reports and outstanding accomplishments to the Chief of Dental Services. I played a critical role in interpreting inspection findings and I recommended corrective actions. I consulted with the Chief of Dental Services, quality assurance regulators, compliance officers, and other health services agencies on multiple projects. Accomplishments: Efforts garnered the Air Forces Medium Dental Clinic of the Year Award.I was also hand selected to fill-in as the Medical Groups First Sergeant for 6 months when our Sergeant was deployed. I was responsible for the health and welfare of 315 members; one of the highlights of my career.

Accomplishments: 5 consecutive Medium Dental Clinic of the Year Awards, Health Services Inspection rating the highest the Medical Group had received in 6 years, and recognized by the Air Force Surgeon General for Dental Services for extensive knowledge and execution of the Units hazardous material tracking system.
