My professional experience cuts across all the relevant disciplines required for an effective "Driver of Change” be it in service deliver, product development, research, discovery and development, knowledge management and the ultimate prize, increased profits through cost reduction and increased productivity.I started as a Network Support technician, while developing software applications in the early 2000's. From then I concentrated on the key roles of ICT that support the core businesses, these being Systems Architecture and Product Design and Development. The need to add value to the business even drew me closer to the roles of Managing Projects resulting from business desire to cut costs and improving efficiency in business processes. Furthermore, key aspects of this role were to develop new products and value added services. This role was supported by my Prince2 Project Management Practitioner accreditation. In my various roles and responsibilities, Key projects delivered include Managing Procurement Processes and Contracts, Implementation of an Integrated ERP System across all Organization Departments and Branches, Currency Rebasing, Introduction of efficiency in Claim processing through Paperless Processes, self-evaluating and awarding of valid but missing member contributions, system to bank payment solutions, implementation of mobile platforms for stakeholder interaction with the Organization, etc).Knowing that systems thrive on Knowledge, and that knowledge is a key ingredient to creating a sustainable and profitable product life cycle, I have recently engaged in studies of Knowledge and Strategic Management. My vision is to bridge the gap between professional Knowledge (Technical) and Management of human capital and technologies (Managerial knowledge) that support key Products and services of an Organization.
