I’m an engineering student at the University of Virginia with a passion for hands-on problem solving and interdisciplinary collaboration. Currently pursuing a degree in Systems Engineering with a minor in business, I am exploring various fields to find the area that best aligns with my interests. Through my research internship at MIT’s Bio-Inspired Lab, where I contributed to the morphing airfoil wing design for a stop-rotor aircraft project, I developed key skills in CAD, 3D printing, rapid prototyping, and team-based collaboration. Additionally, my role as a caddie has refined my ability to build relationships, think critically under pressure, and provide exceptional customer service.Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I am an avid golfer, having played my whole life, as well as a rock climber and musician. I’ve played guitar, piano, and sung for many years, which led me to organize two benefit concerts for Seacrest Studios at Boston Children’s Hospital. Together, these events raised over $15,000 to support live performances for patients and enhance their experiences in the studio. I led a large team, managed all aspects of event planning, and performed with my band.Driven by the desire to make a positive impact through the application of my engineering and business skills, I am eager to continue growing and exploring new opportunities in the field, both personally and professionally.
