Then I transitioned to the newly formed Research team (working on a wide array of issues) for 5 years. After that I was promoted to be manager of the Solution Development team, a newly reorganized.
Worked with the Distributed Simulations Systems (DSS) group. I was the lead developer on the Federation Verification Tool (FVT), a tool to help develop simulations that comply with the High Level Architecture (HLA) specification. Also worked on a project called GrammarMonkey.
Participated in an effort to re-engineer the Air Force Command Exercise Simulator (ACES) from a FORTRAN-based system into an object-oriented C++ based system, using MS Visual C++.
