CurrentThis my business and my passion:Melting glaciers, warming and rising seas, parched farmlands, raging fires in our forests, torrential rain and flooding. No country is spared. Alarm bells are ringing everywhere! And what is the common cause? It is simple. Too much carbon dioxide in the atmosphere that rises and then traps the heat we generate through burning fossil fuels. A 150-year accumulation of CO2 that is accelerating in concentration every day. It makes the air hotter, the water hotter and the land hotter. A global problem crying out for solutions. We are especially excited about two technology acquisitions we have just completed in Colombia. They are both exceedingly complementary of our corporate focus: reducing/or and eliminating CO2 from our atmosphere. The Green Culture system can "mine" landfills of municipal solid waste (MSW) seeking the organic waste that can then be converted into bio-fertilizer and sold in competition with fossil fuel-based fertilizers. Ecolair can remove CO2 from ambient air (or directly from a chimney) and then permanently sequester the carbon and other captured pollutants into tiles, bricks and other building materials. Experts agree that we must remove a significant amount of pollutants from our now-existing atmosphere if we are to have a chance of halting the warming of our planet. Producing bio-fertilizer and building solar farms and other forms of clean energy are essential but will not be enough. We are moving to become an important factor in the carbon credits markets. The proceeds of these placements will, as a priority, provide a living for indigenous people to protect (from loggers) and nourish their rainforests, preserving them as the lungs of the world. We are also engaged in the renewable energy sector; now in the process of constructing a 100MW solar park in Colombia and have initial documentation on eight 50MW solar parks in the DRC.
