Provided on site/on call engineering support for the U.S. Central Air Forces – Forward. Provided continuity for the 386th Expeditionary Communication Squadron to ensure uninterrupted communication services to U. S. war fighters and support elements. Maintained more than 640 Motorola Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system assets using secure encrypted digital modulation allowing firefighting, security, command, and support elements to have clear, uninterrupted communications while operating on Ali Al Salem Air Base. Worked alongside CENTAF in the deployment of a Radio over IP at Ali Al Salem AB. Helped engineer and install a remote ground to air communications system for arrival/departure aircraft allowing U.S. and Coalition air assets to perform between 70 and 140 mission sorties per day. Assist in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a TPQ-43 Beacon RADAR system to provide an IFF air picture to U.S Air Force air traffic controllers, enabling more positive air control and greatly increasing safety of flight for coalition aircraft flying missions in support of OEF / OIF.
