One of my main achievements throughout the year was designing an own label men’s skincare equivalent of the brand, ‘L’Oreal Men Expert’. This was a huge financial risk for the company as it was a niche own label range, but proved a huge success and was distributed to all 316 stores across the UKI also worked on a ‘canned meat’ project during my placement within the canned food trading department, and due to my enthusiastic involvement within the assignment was asked to participate in a board review with the relevant buyer and directors, including Ken Morrison and Marc Boland. Overall, Morrison’s work experience has given me a broad understanding of the retail industry.
