Doubled the divisions EBITDA contribution from $12M to $24M and maintained a 15%+ growth rate on units and revenues. As a member of the senior team, participated in the $4.3B sale of Enercare to Brookfield Infrastructure Partners.Retired from the role of President, Enercare Connections and assisted in an orderly transition.

Company was successfully sold to Rogers Communications for $425M in January 2011.• Grew revenues from $43M to $77M (21.5% CAGR) and EBITDA from $23M to $43M (23% CAGR). • Integrated six previously acquired companies into a single, cohesive team with common processes, products, systems and an aligned strategy. • Acquired two companies (Halton Hills Fiber Optics and the Ontario assets of Xittel Telecommunications Inc.) and successfully integrated them into the corporation.• Moved the organization to a “pay for performance” compensation plan, tied to individual contributions that were based on Key Performance Indices (KPI’s) and the corporate strategic goals.• Introduced Salesforce.com as the Customer Relationship Management system and launched a new Operations Support System (OSS) based on the eTOM (enhanced Telecom Operations Map) model.• Managed the successful sale of the company to Rogers Communications.• Awarded “CEO of the Year”, from the owners of Atria, Birch Hill Equity Partners (formerly TD Capital)

Hamilton, On

Mountain Cablevision was an independent, family owned cable operator in Hamilton and the Niagara Peninsula, providing cable TV, internet, telephony and collocation services to residential and enterprise customers. It was successfully sold to Shaw Communications Inc. for in 2009 for $300M• Doubled revenues ($27M to $60M) and tripled earnings and free cash-flow over the last three years of operations, exceeding the approved business plan by more than 20% each year.• Negotiated wholesale agreements for voice, data and broadcast content resulting in over $2M in annual savings.• Developed and launched the residential telephone service, which was the first “packet cable” based telephone service launched in Canada. Achieved an industry leading 65% penetration rate on this new service in four years.• Developed and launched a Video on Demand service, a server collocation service and commercial telephony service.• Built a Business-to-Business sales and marketing group and grew it to over $3.6M in revenue, selling network services to key clients including the City of Hamilton, McMaster Innovation Park and Hamilton International Airport.• Led the process that resulted in the successful sale of the company to Shaw Communications.
