In my current role, I carry out software engineering and development for one of Reposetek's largest clients, where I gather requirements, prioritize user stories and features, and create and manage documentation. I code web applications, manage full SDLCs, and create SQL scripts and Splunk queries. I also write Scrum and Agile features and supervise project teams as needed.Selected Accomplishments:• Proposed and led the 6-month redesign of a critical customer generation review screen critical for the Distributed Interconnectivity Information System (DIIS) that is the basis of multiple client functions. Updated the user interface (UI), implemented new Controller classes, and upgraded all 3rd-party application programming interfaces (APIs). • Spearheaded the development of a California-mandated Wholesale Distribution Access Tariff system. Wrote Camel routes to ingest large volumes of data. Created a document storage tool. Integrated system with DIIS.• Lead software developer for the Energy Measurement Calculation Engine project. Wrote vital code to aggregate large volumes of data from multiple sources and perform calculations on the data.• Authored functional and technical design documentation, including functionalities, UML sequence diagrams, UML activity diagrams, and refactoring of existing code, for multiple high-level projects.• Improved efficiency by implementing Google Analytics, including custom dashboards and reports.• Performed full-stack development for several web applications and optimized system performance.• Enhanced productivity by training team members on full-stack Java web application development. • Served as a Product Owner and Scrum Master for multiple projects.

During this period I planned, managed, and executed a wide variety of front-end, back-end, and full-stack development projects for military and defense sector clients. I engineered enterprise business optimization tools, performed data modeling and database development, and wrote technical documentation. In addition, I carried out user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolved technical issues. Along with this, I hired, trained, and supervised development teams for projects, led unit and integration testing, and served as the key point of contact for clients throughout projects.Selected Accomplishments:• Earned multiple awards and recognition for superior performance.• Developed a critical enterprise business optimization solution for Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Systems Center. Incorporated Ozone Widgets Framework, a graph database, and various data visualization tools.• Improved quality by managing unit and integration testing for key phases of a Headquarters Installations Information System (HQIIS) project.• Served as Task Lead for multiple high-profile projects, including software development, data model design, database administration, database development, and test script creation.• Designed enterprise solutions for web applications utilized by the Army’s HQIIS. Upgraded an existing web-enabled enterprise-integrated management database.• Enabled new capabilities by evaluating and implementing state-of-the-art technologies for projects.• Facilitated additional business as the Lead Section Writer for a proposal that led to a 6-year contract with the Navy and included 119 technical resources.

● Served on an 18 month deployment in Taji, Iraq. Managed a 3-member communications team to operate military communications equipment.
