Expected to maintain a professional demeanor while working with mostly internal customers to help them develop effective processes for their every day work life. This position is very LEAN focused, and I am expected to help others create their personal performance plans, complete with developing S.M.A.R.T. goals, utilizing crucial conversations, and achieving their goals.This position also requires participating in Global Lean Projects, of which I was the facilitator of one. A Global Lean Project requires going through Present and Future State analysis, SIPOC and ADKAR techniques, and developing the communication and implementation steps of the process in order to see the project through to fruition. This position is responsible for documenting sessions with groups, taking detailed notes, and putting those notes into easy to read documents for the folks who are participating in these projects.The final portion of this position entails developing and formatting documents for the over-arching Department. These documents include the Department Performance Plan, and the Transition Plan. The Department Performance Plan is a yearly process that details Department performance over the last fiscal year. This includes statistical data and narrative that supports the Departments S.M.A.R.T goals, and the strategy map. The Transition Plan is a document that is intended to transition the new governor into office quickly, efficiently, and effectively by giving him or her a detailed overview of the Department in an Executive Summary format.

Managed a team of 15 people, including scheduling, training, coaching, developing rapport, and building an effective work environment. Expected to run teller transactions when needed, manage the branch in event of manager absence, become familiar with Bank Secrecy Act procedures, balance general ledger accounts, reconcile general ledger accounts, balance the Federal Reserve vault as well as the branch vault, and analyzing accounts for accuracy.This position is tasked with making decisions regarding the branch budget and handling customer complaints in a friendly, but firm, manner.Included in this position are the duties of a personal banker, opening accounts for both new and existing customers. These accounts include DDA, Savings, IRAs, CODs, and HSAs.
