Throughout his career John has helped shape and develop some of the most respected financial institutions within both the public and private sectors, including 12 years as Director-General of the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC), the Island’s financial services regulator. As an accomplished and globally recognised industry executive he now provides coaching to senior leaders. John has always been passionate about bringing out the best in others. An exceptional communicator, his coaching centres on the development of strong interpersonal relationships, strategic awareness and insight, and the building of effective and high performing teams. Underpinning this is his extensive technical experience as a practitioner, policy maker and regulator, creating a powerful and results-base approach, which has helped many senior executives to achieve their potential, and further their careers. As the serving Non-Executive Chairman of Crestbridge, and a Non-Executive director of Nedbank Private Wealth Ltd, John remains very much at the sharp end of the industry, helping to guide organisations through changing and uncertain times.
