Responsible for the feeding and care of DreamPress (our managed WordPress hosting service at DreamHost) which involves setting the Product Roadmap and budget, coordinating with other members of the management team, overseeing marketing efforts, validating customer personas, managing the DreamPress team and more.Also involved in business development, specifically acquisition and partnerships. In 2018 I helped close a deal which increased the DreamPress base by 15% and lined up multiple add on opportunities for launch in 2019.

Coming into a new tech company with a background in Psychology and Literature was certainly a challenge. While I was on the Tech Support team for most of this time I wore many hats as I was given opportunities to work with System Administration and Sales & Marketing.Accomplishments:-Helped establish and run the Sales and Marketing Team-Repurposed our old hardware-1-on-1 relationship building with top customers-performed on-call duties and server maintenance-learned to provide support for highly technical customers

My first job out of college I found myself working for a VW dealership which presented a number of interesting challenges (in particular dealing with poor inventory). In many ways this experience taught me what not to do when it comes to customer service.Accomplishments-Learned vehicle specifications and features-Studied various approaches to sales-Helped start the internet department for the dealership-Trained for finance department-got customer to buy the green car when they wanted blue**in retrospect, this would be in the ‘not to do’ category
