Assisting in the delivery of high quality and effective pre-hospital clinical care and patient transportation, responding to 999 emergencies, inter-hospital transfers, urgent hospital admissions and other allocated patient interventions commensurate with the role and responsibilities.Used advanced driving skills under blue light and normal traffic conditions to respond to emergency and routine calls as required. Working as a crew or solo, I would deliver appropriate care and effective treatment to patients in both hospital and pre-hospital environments.

I oversaw the operational delivery of all adventurous activities including equipment, vehicles, staffing and documentation for CGO. Each year I reviewed with the Director both the LOtC and AALS inspections, which means coordinating throughout the year a team of Technical Advisors to complete observations of staff, recces of new venues, training and assessment of non-NGB activities (Gorge, Raft Building, etc) and anything else deemed within their scope of experience.I also coordinated NGB delivery, these included:- Mountain Leader Award- Lowland Leader Award- Expedition Skills- Hill & Mountain Skills- BCU Star Awards- BCU Rescue Awards- BCU Coach AwardsMy other roles included writing of programmes, running recruitment events, planning staff training and selection of new Course Directors, updating of health and safety documentation (risk assessments, operating procedures, etc.) and planning with other staff the purchase of equipment within budgets.CGO work with over 6000 children and adults per year, therefore coordinating 70+ staff, up to 25-30 vehicles, a significant quantity of equipment and across various venues in the North of England and beyond requires careful planning between a range of internal and external parties/resources.

This position included bringing all aspects of the centre together, which included health and safety documents, staff recruitment and training, route setting, marketing, working with IT professionals and climbing course development. Skills learnt have been a great addition to the role held at Harrogate Climbing Centre.

Instruction/training on all indoor activities offered. I designed and developed the outdoor programmes, which included the writing of operating procedures, risk assessments and inducting staff at venues. This also included supporting on delivery of SPA, CWA and CWLA courses, and working alongside Technical Advisors with the development of the above.

Sultanate Of Oman

This was a very similar post to that of the work at Muscat Diving and Adventure Centre, but run by French owners. I was also involved in the development of new itineraries, which required venue selection and recces. These new activity venues were for climbing, canyoning and trekking.

During my time at MDAC I worked regularly on trips that ranged from 8-15 days. The clients were mainly middle aged and above and were French, Austrian or English, which provided a great communication challenge. My responsibilities included driving 4x4 vehicles, cooking (three meals a day), guiding treks, via ferratas and canyoning and tour guiding. Opportunities included work with the BBC, Discovery Channel and Red Bull film crews.
