About John Rocks
After many years in the building industry i took a diverse change in career joining The Design Station Ltd trading as 'Custom Wax N Seals and My Personal Jewellery' as production, designer and product development manager. I find that i have bought a lot of knowledge and experience to the company from my time within the building industry and utilising those previously gained strengths streamlined the manufacturing process reducing production time to a fraction of the previous. thus reducing production costs.From Joining the company in 2011 I've had the pleasure of instrumentally contributing to the company's gross profits trebling. The diversity of this new role sees me not only in the production role but that of designer and management consultant as well.In conjunction with newly learned skills gained from working within the company regarding design techniques and the personal development of a new range of products, orchestrating the manufacturing, packaging design of these products and importation to the UK the estimated profits for 2014 are set to double yet again.In a recovering economy after a hard trading period were fortunate enough to be in a very good position to look forward to an exciting future.The Design Station consists of two individual companies both are E Commerce based, one of which is 'Custom wax N seals' and the other 'My Personal Jewellery'.

Currently my prowess within the company is the forward programming of work to ensure a swift production from order to dispatch ensuring both customer satisfaction and thus avoiding orders from becoming stunted in their delivery by backlogs.A hands-on approach in production allows me to ensure that the quality of our products is maintained at our highest standards and the continuity of consistency is guaranteed.With the ability of newly trained skills I'm able to contribute to the design process helping to keep the levels of pressure down on our design team ensuring a smooth and stress free working environment.Continually looking to move the company forward with product design, I am currently awaiting our first ever import order of our Deluxe range from the far East created from concepts and designs by myself having first located and established a working relationship with a multitude of different manufacturers from around the world climaxing in the product going to market here in the UK
