Demonstrate responsibility, attendance and dependability.Plan, control and report on expenditures in area of responsibility.Communicate corporate and division goals. Coordinate the assimilation, communication and promote employee buy-in of section goals. Monitor and report on goal progress.Monitor and identify training and development needs for employees.Ensure that safety meetings are effective and held regularly.Perform safety, environmental and quality inspections of job sites. Maintain regular presence on the job.Visually monitor work progress at least once per week.Monitor manual and computerized work management records. Review and analyze work flow processes/procedures to ensure efficiency, accuracy and timeliness.Assist with effective and efficient procurement, distribution, use of materials and equipment and monitoring of records.Evaluate new materials and equipment and advise planning of concerns and assist in research and development of new technologies.Maintain basic knowledge of Company, safety and departmental policies, employee benefits, service standards and Union contract(s). Serve as the initial resource regarding these documents.Set the standard for providing effective customer service while representing the Company in various customer and client service capacities.Prepare oral and written reports and presentations as required.Maintain proper working relationships with all levels of the organization.
