Current• Establish and maintain comprehensive internal controls across six or more departments and multiple entities to ensure accurate, reliable accounting data and financial reporting• Develop a high level of trust and positive business relationships between hundreds of vendors and over a dozen financial and professional institutions• Negotiate tax and insurance audit assessments to reduce valuations and fees by 50% or more• Manage 100+ contractual obligations annually and oversee dispute resolution and legal settlements pertaining to clients, vendors, and employees• Monitor 10,000+ GL/Equipment/Job Cost transactions annually and oversee all aspects of account reconciliations, period closings, and tax filings for multiple entities• Ensure compliance of financial transactions according to GAAP• Integrate business systems and accounting functions between multiple software platforms to establish consistency between finance/field management teams• Work closely with general contractors, architects, and government agencies to manage bidding processes, field operations, and contract negotiations• Set up finance and data reporting systems to track key performance milestones and optimize finance reporting initiatives• Act as liaison between teams and departments to ensure reliable data collection that align with business strategies
