Managed seven full-time and two regional staff. Created community partnerships initiative, inviting other NGOs to participate in organization’s walk and raise funds for various programs and services. Helped program staff establish quantifiable outcomes for programs and services. Restructured ten-member staff team, maximizing outcomes for each position. Integrated cross-departmental activities, engaging program staff in fundraising and vice-versa. • Increased board engagement, including 55% increase in give/get total. • Created and executed new event, An Unforgettable Evening: generating $2,400,000 in five years. • Oversaw walk growth from four locations to ten, increasing revenue by 60% and volunteer engagement by 35%.

Managed five full-time and four seasonal staff. Oversaw Cirque du Soleil’s first international benefit premiere and after-party for 2,500 guests on world-famous Santa Monica Pier. Created sponsorship decks with corporate branding opportunities for special events and programs. • Led development efforts resulting in annual revenue of $5,100,000, the largest in organization’s 25-year history.• Secured organization’s second largest individual gift ($250,000) and largest corporate/media partnership ($90,000 cash, $50,000 in-kind, and 1,000,000 media impressions). • Produced annual Bring Back the Beach gala for 1,000 guests on Santa Monica beach, raising $1,000,000 annually.

Managed eight-member development team responsible for $4,600,000 budget. Spearheaded $6,500,000 capital campaign and secured $2,000,000 in lead gifts. Generated over $400,000 in individual major gifts. Produced largest grossing special event in agency’s history, Divine Design, which raised $1,500,000.

Led fundraising activities, including government and foundation grants, direct mail solicitation, major donor development, and estate planning, resulting in $4,000,000 annually. Identified and wrote proposals, resulting in multi-year grants of $20,000,000. Managed writing and production of direct mail and newsletters, reaching 100,000 donors. Planned special events activities, including volunteer management, ticketing, and acknowledgement.

Oversaw major donor solicitation in California, Arizona, and Nevada, securing $500,000 in first year. Participated in program design for HIV programming in Kampala, Uganda. Identified, researched, and prepared foundation and corporate grant proposals. Coordinated special events from cocktail receptions to studio movie premieres.
