1. I am a coalition builder. I provide consulting and advocacy strategies that assist non-profits and businesses with issues regarding government and legislative policy matters.2. I am also an advocate for veteran's issues. I focus on safeguarding our veterans and their health by working with doctors, mental health specialists and veteran service organizations (as well as other aligned groups) with the purpose of raising awareness of the underlying causes (as opposed to just the symptoms) of veterans' health issues.3. I helped pass the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act and the Cover Act that pilots 'complementary' medicine programs. I coordinated with Congress to initiate a Government Accountability Office (GAO) investigation and a National Academy of Science, Engineering and Medicine (NAS) study into veteran suicides.4. Other than clients who are very aligned with the mission of helping veterans, I am independently funded so I can be depended on to make decisions for the greatest good vs paid-for lobbyists working for vested interests.Additional Experience:1999–2012: Coalition builder and fund raiser for a national human rights organization. I raised over seven million dollars and helped build coalitions with other like minded national groups.1981–1998: Engaged in and ran various successful sales and marketing projects. 1975–1980: Public Relations Specialist. I arranged TV and radio shows, press conferences, and newsprint articles. Also drafted and lobbied legislation. During this time, I also drafted and lobbied for various legislation, and I formed a coalition whose members totaled over 100 million.1973-1975: Counselor for a Community Action Program. I counseled and assisted the unemployed via job placement and monitored their progress in work-training positions.
