Managing a portfolio of products utilized in infrastructure projects around the world. Developing strategic partnerships to gain access to growing markets, and leveraging our existing channel to provide unparalleled value to our end users. Working with our channel partners as a forward looking product line, focusing on future needs of our end users, and how we can support our various markets. As product manager for our wall penetration products, I implemented a program in North America which incentivizes our distribution partners to provide outstanding value to our end users. The program rewards our partners based on product knowledge, industry experience, and maintaining inventory to respond to their customer base. In addition to these value adds for end users, the program incentivizes collaboration on market insights, local product promotion, participation in industry associations, and proper use of branding & trademarks.We are completing a cross functional project to near source production of our Ranger II casing spacers, bringing molding of our highest volume parts to Houston, TX. This change will allow us to rapidly supply project volume orders, while reducing the inventory burden, and international freight costs. With our ability to supply & promote the product domestically we are reorganizing our North American channel. Moving to a regional distribution program, similar to our wall penetration products. The regional distribution program will allow our team to focus on manufacturing high quality products, and moving the transactional end user fulfillment tasks to our local channel partners.

As the Jr. Product Manager I had P&L responsibilities for the ElectroStop Monolithic Isolation Joint (MIJ) Product line. Responsible for implementing a number of the projects (Large Diameter Manufacturing, Joint Partnership with Overseas Partner, and others).Marketing & Sales became a much larger focus in my role as the product manager, and I worked closely with the marketing team to promote product awareness through industry events, publications, and creating updated marketing collateral to represent our new product portfolio. Providing support to the outside sales team with remote, or onsite customer presentations, and technical information in order to change specifications or secure project orders.In 2017, and in 2018 GPT secured, and delivered two new construction projects on the east coast.

As a member of a team which launched a new product in late 2014, I moved into the roll of Technical Specialist. My responsibilities included pricing strategy, review of project specifications & commercial terms, and lead projects to grow annual sales & EBITA.I initiated and completed two projects which expanded our offering to include the entire range of diameters used in the oil & gas market. One project required support from a cross functional team which sourced equipment, designed a manufacturing cell, and established a supply chain to support our new large diameter product offering. The second project established a contractual relationship with an international partner.

Managed Purchasing of key raw materials and services for Garlock Pipeline Technologies and Garlock Sealing Technologies plants in Houston, TX. At GPT, supported the commercial launch of the Monolithic Isolation Joint (MIJ), by sourcing raw materials, and outside services. Worked intimately with manufacturing to improve quality, lead time, and cost for the newly released product line. Providing input to product management on available raw materials to offer customer solutions for non-standard requirements. Using inventory optimization tools to adjust stocking levels to improve OTD, and inventory turnover.Supported other product lines cost savings projects on raw materials (Thermoplastics, Thermosets, Fasteners, Carbon Steel forgings, sheet, & coil). Challenged the status quo for our elastomer molding operation for the LinkSeal Product line. Initiated an effort to source an Injection Molding machine, and our Engineering A3 project to reduce the scrap/waste produce by the outdated equipment.At GST, managed the purchasing for the metal gasket, and butterfly valve product lines. Responsible for sourcing high nickel alloys in sheet, and wire for the production of spiral wound & other metallic gaskets. Responsible for purchasing standard SS & Carbon Steel spiral wound gaskets from international vendors located in India, & China.

Challenged the current suppliers with competitive RFQ's and supplier quality agreements. Implementing fixed priced agreements for raw materials. Learning the newly implemented Oracle ERP system, and identifying process improvements for operations and purchasing.

Charlotte, North Carolina Area

Managed three category spend teams (MRO/ Factory Support, Industrial Gasses, & Industrial Hardware). Working directly with national account representatives from our suppliers in those categories on cost reduction, consignment and other programs. Initiated RFP's to leverage our volume across the enterprise and obtain preferential pricing.Reporting was provided for the category spend teams, by collecting current volumes and pricing from team members at each site. Optimized our freight spend through analysis of our negotiated rates, and the freight information from the AFS platform.

Jackson, Michigan Area

Worked with customers to match their needs with the appropriate service level while minimizing the cost. Coordinated with carriers across the south east to develop a distribution net work for Mill Steel out of Birmingham AL. I also worked on projects to move CNC equipment for Patriot Machine, this included building loads and organizing deliveries so the parts arrived in the needed order. On a daily bases I found carriers to move our customers loads using online databases, as well as my preferred carriers.
