Working in a small team of integrated specialists as the sole surface water resources/hydrology consultant I managed and provided technical input into a wide range of projects throughout the UK and globally including flood risk and EIA, engineering design & specification, construction management, feasibility studies and research.I was also responsible for proposals and pricing, and expanding GWP's core business into the UK hydropower market.Key projects:Design and spec of flood mitigation measures, including river works, drainage, storage & pumping, for 2 limestone quarries in south-west Nigeria. Included rainfall analysis, hydrological & hydraulic modelling.World Bank Kiribati Climate Adaptation Project (KAP II): Project engineer responsible for updating national building codes, and design and construction of urban water supply interventions including: rainwater storage, renovation of a well field, and construction supervision for a 15m water tower.World Bank, KAP III– Banaba (Kiribati) Island water resources assessment including cost-benefit analysis, detailed design & spec, and construction management of rainwater storage (1000m3) upgrades.
