Annapolis, MD

Court Security Bureau; Detention Command Center Deputy responsible for transporting incarcerated defendants to and from A.A.County Detention Center; defendant escort to and from assigned court rooms and responding to emergency situations within the court house; lend aide to allied agencies.

UMBC

Uniform patrol of the #1 Up and Coming University in the country. Senior member of bike patrol unit, conduct bike and vehicle patrols while preventing criminal activity, safeguarding activities of all students, staff and professors.

UMBC Investigations

Investigations of fraud, embezzlement, I.D. theft, computer crimes, burglary, robbery and theft. Prepare cases for criminal prosecution, working closely with Baltimore County State's Attorney's Office and Grand Jury. liaison coordinator with Baltimore County Police Department, UMBC PD, and surrounding agencies. Worked closely with UMBC IT Security Manager.

Catonsville, Maryland

Patrol of the campus in vehicles and on foot. In 2001 completed training and assigned to bicycle patrol, as part of the campus C.O.P.s Unit. Performed specialized directed patrol by foot and bike patrol. Assisted with campus security awareness initiatives, participating yearly in the Student Security Walks in residential zones.

Anne Arundel County Schools

Officers in the D.A.R.E. Unit provided instructional program to school age students, parents and staff regarding drug avoidance and personal safety. A pre-cursor to both the School Resource Officer and the Youth Activities Programs. D.A.R.E. was a 17 week long program providing classroom instruction to grades 1 through 5 focused specifically on the 5th.

Police And Community Together (P.A.C.T.) was the original COPS program within the police department which responded to community based concerns in "Hot Spot" areas. Typically resolving drug related problems requiring additional police patrols. Also addressing "quality of life" concerns with the community leaders, neighbors and clergy.

Winterode Building

Investigated criminal activities including burglary and property crimes. Prepared cases for prosecution of perpetrators. Worked closely with State's Attorneys Office and other allied agencies, giving court testimony in both District, Circuit and before the Grand Jury.

HQ/ Central/ Eastern/ Northern/ D.A.R.E.

Assigned as Cadet (Police Service Officer)to C.I.D.(Criminal Investigation Division) in support of the Detectives Bureau. After completing training at the Anne Arundel County Police Academy, I was assigned as patrol officer to shifts Central-2, Eastern Overlap, and Eastern -2 District Detectives. I was assigned to C.I.D. Property Division for 4 years.
