I have given up formal employment - letting go of a 35 year career spent in the public, charity and business sectors that included consultancy work and occasional university lecturing, but mostly taking up senior management positions to develop and lead service-oriented organisations and projects. All my work involved the management, enabling and coaching or mentoring of people. I still like to help people to find ways to realise their personal potential and effectiveness. I am particularly interested in engaging with open-minded and altruistic people who feel stuck or blocked in some way, or maybe just in two minds about things. If you are interested in resolving issues, working through life dilemmas, navigating through work situations etc., and think you might benefit from having a confidential sounding board, coach or mentor, maybe I can help. As well as my being experienced in playing such a role, I am also trained in Solution Focused methodology - which helps people to do things like get un-stuck, 'turn the corner', see their way forward and redirect themselves. But beyond the jargon, I am basically a lateral-thinking human being with some gifts of insight and strategic thinking that I am prepared to share - with persons of integrity.
