There are areas on aircraft that airline customers want to inspect after it has been completed and accepted by Boeing quality. When the part or area is "ready" I am contacted to coordinate the inspection by the airline customer. At times a customer will defer the inspection to the coordinator. Some airlines defer all inspections to the coordinators. If defects are found then the coordinator will write them up. The shop then corrects the defect and Boeing quality inspects and once accepted the coordinator is contacted to verify the defect has been corrected. I also work with customers about aircraft build and engineering concerns.

I have worked in many positions at the Boeing company. I started with Boeing in Palmdale, CA on the B-2 Bomber program as a mechanic then moved on to tooling. I moved to Everett in 1991. From 1991 to 2002 I worked as a mechanic on 747, 767 aircraft and tooling mechanic. I also work with the Manufacturing Research and Development dept. from 1997-1999 then back to a mechanic on 767 until 2002.
