This leadership group oversaw the implementation of the Church’s administrative, pastoral, programmatic, operational, financial and organizational priorities including the management of a $8 million plus operating and capital budget• Managed the development and implementation of priorities and strategies for two of the Church’s seven departments – Education and Social Justice. This involved extensive evaluation, strategic planning, implementation and oversight of over 20 different initiatives including; children and families, youth, adult education, LGBT fellowship, prison ministry, a partnership with the South African Council of Churches focused on the development of a trauma counseling center in a township, faith-based community organizing, health care, economic development, visiting detained immigrants and grantmaking to local, national and international groups.• Managed the annual budget for both departments• Oversaw 50 full-time and part-time staff with over 200 volunteers.
