I have over six years industry experience working with Telecom, and two years working as for a contractor company for both Telecom and Vodafone. In this time I have quickly equipped myself and mastered many skills and knowledge required for the wide variety of voice and data products and services that the New Zealand Telecommunication companies currently provides, at the final level of technical support. If I was unable to resolve an issue, then I have had to work with vendors, programmers and platform designers in troubleshooting and diagnosing the issue to resolution. I have often been recognised for my abilities and attended several core network workshops with Alcatel regarding several promising services and the hardware they were operating on. I have completed two years of study towards an Information Sciences degree, majoring in both Computer Science and Information Systems. This provides me with a firm understanding of the System Development Life Cycle, various coding skills to potentially repair issues identified in the testing process, and importantly, the ability to speak with understanding with a system developer and later interpret and convert that knowledge into a less comprehensive and more readily digestible form. I have always been a self driven, dedicated worker and am often recognised for these traits. In the past this has facilitated my promotion to management levels, both within the workspace and with extracurricular hobbies. I am a team player, inside and outside of work, and have arranged many after hours events with work colleagues.
